Bring your cards to the shop and we handle the rest: logged at intake, shipped to PSA USA under our authorized dealer account, and returned to you slabbed. One local drop-off — no PSA account or cross-border shipping to figure out yourself.

Is it worth grading?

Grading makes sense when a clean, high-grade slab is worth meaningfully more than the raw card, and enough more to cover the grading cost. A quick gut check:

  • Condition first. Grading rewards sharp corners, clean edges, good centering, and a flawless surface. A card with obvious wear rarely grades high enough to gain value.
  • Value vs. cost. If a card is worth only a few dollars raw, grading usually costs more than it adds. Chase cards, rookies, and vintage are where it pays off.
  • Know the break-even. Roughly: grade it when (graded value − raw value) comfortably beats the grading fee. When in doubt, ask us — we'll give you an honest read before you commit.

Not sure about a card? Bring it in and we'll help you decide. We'd rather talk you out of grading a $3 common than take the fee.

Pricing

Service tiers

Grading price is set by the card's declared value (its value after grading) — pick the service whose value ceiling covers your card. If a card grades into a higher value than declared, PSA moves it up to the correct service; that's an "upcharge." Turnaround days start when your order arrives at PSA, not at drop-off.

ServiceGrading price (CAD)Insured / declared valueEst. turnaround
Bulk Currently unavailable up to $700 Paused
Value Plus Currently unavailable up to $700 Paused
Value Max Currently unavailable up to $1,400 Paused
Regular $140.00 up to $2,100 30-60 days
Express $270.00 up to $3,500 30-60 days
Super Express $525.00 up to $7,000 30-60 days

The grading price includes shipping to and from PSA, insurance up to that service's declared-value ceiling, and any duties or tariffs. Your total at pickup = grading price + return shipping to you + GST/PST. No payment is taken at drop-off — you pay only once your slabs are back and ready.

Questions

FAQ

How long does it take?

Each service has an estimated window (shown in the tiers table). Importantly, PSA's clock starts when your order arrives at PSA — not when you drop off — so your total also includes our prep and shipping time. We give you the current realistic estimate at drop-off.

How much does it cost?

Grading price is based on your card's declared value (see the tiers table). Your total = grading price + return shipping + GST/PST. The grading price already covers shipping to/from PSA, insurance up to the service's value ceiling, and any duties. If a card grades higher than its declared value, PSA upcharges it to the correct service.

When do I pay?

Never at drop-off. Payment is only due once your graded cards are back and ready to return — we email you an invoice, and your slabs are released once it's settled.

What if my card gets a low grade?

PSA grades what you send — the fee covers authentication and grading regardless of the number. That's why we help you pick cards worth grading before you commit.

How do I know I'll get my cards back?

We're an Authorized PSA Platinum Dealer listed on the PSA Dealer Directory, and we've submitted over 200,000 cards for clients. Every submission is logged against you at intake and reconciled against that log when it returns.

Are my cards insured?

Yes — each service level includes PSA insurance up to that tier's declared-value ceiling while your cards are in transit and at PSA. Declaring the right value matters, which is why we confirm it with you.

Do you grade non-sports / TCG cards?

Yes — bring them in and we'll get them submitted along with everything else.
